Filippo Lorenzon

My name is Filippo Maria Lorenzon, and I was born in Rome on June 2, 1981. After graduating from high school with a degree in classical studies, I pursued one of my great interests—the environment—by earning a degree in Geography. Meanwhile, after starting out as a child in track and field, modern pentathlon, and especially triathlon, I began cycling. I also ran as an amateur. And cycling, thanks in part to Pantani's exploits, became part of my blood. This passion led me to sports journalism. I love motorsports, football, athletics, and everything related to the mountains: cross-country skiing, mountaineering, hiking, mountain biking, and nature.
