Canyon recently announced a double equity investment that will help expand its presence in the United States. The first investor is LRMR Ventures, the business group of world basketball icon LeBron James and Maverick Carter, a businessman specializing in sports marketing. The other investor is SC Holdings: a private equity firm based in the United States, which deals with market-leading brands.
The new investors will join the company's current shareholders, including majority shareholder Groupe Bruxelles Lambert and Canyon founder Roman Arnold.
