The project that this year will see Nathan Haas as protagonist is called “Full Circle”, a past as a top-level biker and road racer, now ready to launch himself into the world of gravelColnago will be alongside him and will provide the athlete, originally from Brisbane, Australia, five bicycles G3-X model to be used throughout the season (photo Laura Fletcher at the opening).

Closing the circle
The choice to call the project “Full Circle” is not at all accidental. Nathan Haas made his mountain bike debut by representing Australia in two editions of the world championshipHe then switched to the road in 2011, taking home several titles including two Japan Cups and the Herald Sun Tour. The transition to gravel now closes an ideal circle in his career as a professional cyclistIn this new chapter of his sporting life, he will be able to count on the support of a world-renowned brand like Colnago.
«For me, cycling has always been synonymous with evolution – Nathan Haas himself begins – as an athlete, as a person and above all as an expression. I have tried my hand at almost every discipline and although my road cycling career has been my greatest achievement to dateI've never considered myself a road racer. I couldn't have dreamed of a better partner than Colnago for this new adventure. I know there will be no compromise between performance and style. I'll enter every race with the best products I could wish for."

Cross in Colnago's DNA
Cyclocross has always played an important role in Colnago's history. In fact, champions of the calibre of Wout van aert, Sven Nys, Niels Albert, Adrie van der Poel, Lars Boom, Paul Herygers and the Italian Luca Bramati, to name the best known. A total of eight cyclo-cross World Championship titles have been won.
The transition to gravel today is nothing new for Colnago. Last year, the American Lauren De Crescenzo, riding a Colnago G3-X, won the UNBOUND Gravel 200, a very tough race considered the most important in the world of gravel.
Manolo Bertocchi, Marketing Director of Colnago, expressed the company's satisfaction with the new collaboration with Nathan Haas: «The most successful Italian brand in the history of off-road drop bars has found the ideal partner in Nathan.Taste, creativity, style and strength come together in a project that will see the birth of five unique, exclusive and, frankly, beautiful bicyclesNathan is the right man to represent Colnago on dirt roads around the world. It's not just style: it's racing to win with style!

G3-X, born for gravel
Over the course of his season, Nathan Haas will have five models of the new G3-X at his disposal, painted in five different ways. We are talking about a bicycle created specifically for gravel, making the most of the great experience gained by Colnago in cyclocross.
It has a geometry optimized to fit larger tires, with steering angle and overall length designed to offer greater stability and comfort at high speeds. The G3-X also accommodates up to four bottle cages, along with luggage that's ideal for longer rides. The Colnago G3-X is offered in five sizes, all sloping.
Among the partners involved in this project we would like to point out Campagnolo, which will provide the Ekar 13-speed gravel groupset combined with Shamal and Deda Elementi wheels for stem and handlebar.
Nothing was left to chance. Nathan's look was in fact curated by designer Richard Pierce, in collaboration with Colnago and Castelli.
