IRONMAN is one of the most iconic and globally recognized sporting events, symbol of resistance, determination and the ability to overcome one's limitsBorn in 1978 in Hawaii, the format combines three extremely demanding endurance disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running, offering a challenge that embodies the event's motto, "anything is possible."

Since that first event, IRONMAN has come a long way, growing into a global brand with hundreds of competitions held in over fifty-five countries.

The Ironman in Italy

Among the main events on the calendar is the IRONMAN Italy in Cervia, in Emilia Romagna and Lombardy, the largest in Italy by number of participants and the only one to offer three different distances: IRONMAN, IRONMAN 70.3 and IRONMAN 5150

Cervia, a historic seaside resort, has established itself in recent years as a top destination for endurance sports enthusiasts thanks to this event. The next meeting is scheduled for September 21st and 22nd, and promises to attract thousands of athletes and spectators from around the world.

The technical and organizational part of the event is managed by TriO Events, with the support of APT Emilia-Romagna and the Municipality of Cervia, while communication will be handled by Vitesse, an agency specialized in the sports and tourism sector, who, in coordination with Giovanni Di Stefano, marketing manager for Italy of IRONMAN, will be responsible for developing the media visibility of the event, promoting the stories of the participants and the unique atmosphere that characterizes each individual competition of the circuit.

The next Ironman Italia events will be on September 21st and 22nd in Emilia Romagna.
