The UCI Cycling World Championships, scheduled for later this month in Rwanda, are getting closer and closer. As a result, anticipation and curiosity are growing for the World Cup, which will be held on the African continent for the first time.

BigMat will undoubtedly be among the stars of the upcoming World Championships. The French company, a leading European distributor of building materials, is the Official Partner of the UCI Road World Championships. This is an agreement that covers the four-year period 2024-2027, therefore already underway.

Global event

To motivate the choice to be a partner of the World Championships Matteo Camillini, Managing Director of BigMat Italia and International, is the road.

Not just cycling

As mentioned so far, BigMat will be the Official Partner of the UCI Road World Championships for the four-year period 2024-2027. However, the French company is not only close to cycling as a sport. Since 2023, BigMat has been the official sponsor of the Italian National Volleyball Team, co-sponsoring the Italian volleyball players at all international events. On its website, the company wanted to celebrate the recent victory of Julio Velasco's girls at the World Championships.

Since 2024, the Group has also been the title sponsor of the BigMat National Youth Volleyball Finals. 

Among the most significant initiatives implemented by BigMat at an international level are the BigMat International Architecture Award (a biennial award which, starting from 2013, promotes European architectural excellence) and Costruiamo per lo Sport, the social responsibility project that will support amateur sport throughout Europe starting in 2020.
