BWH Hotels Italia & Malta recently announced its new partnership with the Giro d'Italia and the Giro d'Italia Women's cycling, strengthening the bond between hospitality, sport, and local development. The renowned international hotel brand thus becomes the Official Partner of the historic cycling competition, which will reach its 108th edition in 2025. The next Corsa pink, we remind you, will start on May 9th from Albania, to end on June 1st in Rome. The version female of the event, the Giro d'Italia Women's cycling, will take place from 6 to 13 July.

According to the report “The Observatory on the Italian Sports System” by Bank Ifis, The Giro d'Italia in 2023 involved 9,4 million people, generating an overall economic impact of €2 billion, €600 million of which will be immediate and €1,4 billion in the months to come. In addition to attracting spectators during the stages, the event stimulates a lasting tourism effect: The report estimates that 618.000 spectators return to the venues they visited within 12-18 months, while 1,8 million choose new destinations inspired by images broadcast on TV.
