Cinelli recently announced the launch, at its plant and headquarters in Milan, of an internal production of steel framesSince April of this year, all the high-end frames in the Nemo family have been produced in-house by a team of specialized artisan frame builders, using Columbus tubing, made in the same factory. The frame production process Cinelli in Milan it represents one of the shortest and most sustainable supply chains of the entire cycling industry.
The decision to bring back inside Cinelli Building and welding steel frames is a romantic idea, driven by a passion for the craftsmanship of high-end, performance-oriented bicycles. However, it's also a pragmatic consideration, offering the company and its customers three key advantages. First, the ability to build stronger, lighter frames with unique features, thanks to the constant and daily dialogue between the design, welding and engineering teams. Then the development of the shortest and most integrated production chain in the world for high-performance bicycle frames, thanks to the sharing of spaces in the welding and frame construction workshop Cinelli with Columbus. Finally the by no means negligible advantage of offering the customer a better service, with faster deliveries and better after-sales support.

Nemo Gravel 2024
This important milestone Cinelli recently celebrated it in London, on the occasion of the Rouleur Live event, through the screening of Made in Milano: a short video dedicated to the frame construction process and the history of Cinelli.
The London Expo also served as the official launch of the Nemo Gravel 2024: the latest Made in Italy jewel of Cinelli regarding the gravelThe 2024 Nemo Gravel represents the first model designed in direct, daily collaboration between the frame construction, engineering, and design teams. In line with the trend toward increasingly extreme and technical riding, the Nemo Gravel is able to offer a high level of off-road support, while maintaining the stiffness, speed and agile handling of a pure road bike.

Particularly, Nemo Gravel features several new proprietary features, including: wheel clearance up to 700x47 mm, the possibility of choosing between two alternative fork types (the HiRide Sterra with 20 mm real hydraulic travel, or the rigid Columbus Disc carbon fork with proprietary dual rake system, which allows the handling of the bike to be customized according to the cyclist's needs and preferences) the lowered seat tube welding point, the new custom-shaped seat stays for greater comfort, and the CNC aluminum seat clamp for better maintenance and durability.
