The bike economy is no longer a trend, but an industrial, tourist and cultural ecosystem that is reshaping the country. And Milan – with Monza Brianza and Lodi – is its epicenter. This is why the Chamber of Commerce of Milan Monza Brianza Lodi chose to insert a multi-year program dedicated to the bicycle sector in its strategy, becoming a key player in the innovation, training and economic development processes related to two-wheelers.
A commitment that finds in the Bike Economy project its most concrete expression. Business support measures, services, internationalization activities, as well as the Bike Economy – The School, the first national competence center that in just three years has trained more than 400 new professionals, responding to the growing needs of companies. At the same time, the Chamber has activated calls for tenders and grants for innovation, supported cycle tourism with territorial branding initiatives and has encouraged sustainable mobility through the Bike to Work and City Logistics measures, which have already financed 37 innovative cycle logistics and commuting projects. All this in a leading territory in Italy, which concentrates 6% of the national companies in the supply chain, 7% of the employees and 10% of the total turnover of the sector.
It is in this context that it was born the fourth edition of "How the bike economy runs", scheduled for November 27, 2025 at 2:30 pm at Palazzo Giureconsulti, curated by Silvia Livoni (with an Antinori image from the 2024 edition at the beginning). This event is designed as a strategic compass for businesses and operators. It will take stock of the evolution of the supply chain through international visions, case studies and testimonials of those who ride the bike economy every day.
