The weekend of March 8th and 9th marked the beginning of the season of the great Italian cycling Classics RCS Sports & Events, with Continental once again the protagonist as Official Tire. The suggestive Crete Senesi have as usual hosted Strade Bianche and its Gran Fondo, offering enthusiasts a unique experience on renewed and even more exciting routes.
Strade Bianche It presented itself with a route enriched by an increase in the dirt section: 81,7 km out of 213 total for the men's race and 50,3 km out of 136 for the women's raceThe Gran Fondo Strade Bianche, now in its tenth edition, has also introduced a new feature: a dirt section in the final stretch. The more than 6.500 amateur cyclists had the opportunity to choose between a long route of 137,7 km and a shorter one of 87 km.
