Controlling the supply chain
The Epica Sport line was born in Prato, the cradle of textiles par excellence, by a company founded in 1895. Epica now boasts forty years of experience in the sports knitwear sector, specializing in particular in the production of stretch fabrics for clothing and sports.
But the real “house specialty” is the use and applications of polypropylene. A fabric that combines both the qualities of resistance and elasticity in equal proportions, giving the garments to which it is applied maximum comfort and biomechanical adaptability to the body. Furthermore, polypropylene is also known for another important distinguishing feature, or the ability to possess extremely high sweat perspiration. This allows the athlete who wears it to always keep their body dry, both in summer and winter.
Last but not least, Epica Sport personally oversees the entire product supply chain. From the original weaving process to the finished garment, all production steps are monitored and supervised directly in-house.
