A new casual clothing brand, which gives a strong nod to the world of cycling, joins the family of products distributed by the Reggio Emilia-based company Beltrami TSA.
Let's talk about Erstwhile, an iconic Belgian brand specialized in the production of sports-oriented clothing and especially cycling. The entire Erstwhile collection is responsibly produced in Portugal and we emphasize responsibly, as Erstwhile has always stood out as a company that pays particular attention to eco-sustainability of its products, thanks above all to rigorous quality control and adherence to a highly sustainable supply chain. All Erstwhile garments are subject to rigorous quality control on the raw cotton material: repeated washing tests, for example... but not only that, guarantee the buyer years and years of continuous use.

The style is retro…
Going into a little more detail about the Erstwhile products distributed in Italy by Beltrami, Tete de la Course is probably recognized as the brand's true workhorse: a jersey made of 100% organic cotton and featuring a style reminiscent of cycling from the '70s and '90s. And precisely because it's a recognized bestseller, the Tete de la Course will always remain a cornerstone of the Erstwhile collection.
The Waaier model instead features the recognisable cyclists' logo completely embroideredThis garment is also made from 100% organic cotton. Interestingly, the term Waaier means "fan-shaped" and represents the tenacity and stubbornness of cyclists when facing headwinds...
Another fundamental aspect: all Erstwhile sweatshirts are designed and produced in brushed cotton, and this is to always give an effect of great softness and eleganceThe “swatshirt” zips, on the other hand, are designed to give the garment itself a vintage and more elegant touch.

Cotton? 100% organic
The Erstwhile polo shirts, all designed with slightly longer sleeves than traditional polo shirts, take their cue from the look of classic cycling jerseys. Made respectively of 50% cotton and 50% modal (the latter an “eco-friendly” fabric) of vegetable origin based on cellulose) perfectly manage to give the effect of a retro cycling jersey, without ever neglecting lightness and freshness.

The Garment Dyed, on the other hand, differs from the other sweatshirts in the line due to the different cut of the sleeves. It is made of a lighter cotton, suitable for summer evenings for example, and is dyed at the end by "dipping" to achieve a much more uniform effect.
Even the socks – a real “gem” from Erstwhile – they are always made strictly using natural fabrics…and always with the logo embroidered!
