The agreement that will see Giant as new Official Sponsor of Val di Sole bike country, for years the seat of major world events in the off-road sector and an increasingly popular destination for bikers of all levels and categories. Throughout 2022, Giant will be the official bike for the packed calendar of two-wheeled events scheduled in Val di Sole.

A very rich calendar
The agreement with Giant comes in a year that promises to be truly packed with two-wheeled events for Val di Sole. It will start in June, with the IMBA Europe Summit (2-4 June) and the first time of Val di Sole BikeFest. The event will coincide with the opening of the Val di Sole Bike Park season. and will offer plenty of two-wheeled thrills to enthusiasts of all categories.
From 2nd to 4th September the great event with the Mountain Bike World Cup, which will crown its winners in the final round in Val di Sole. Finally, on December 17th, the World Cup of cyclocross will return to be held in the snowy setting of Vermiglio which in 2021 conquered spectators around the world with Wout Van Aert's triumph in the men's race.


The capital of MTB
Without any fear of being proven wrong, over the last 15 years the Val di Sole has managed to become the Italian capital of mountain biking in all its forms. It has hosted three editions of the specialty world championships (2008, 2016, 2021), with the fourth already scheduled for 2026.
It is therefore no coincidence that Val di Sole was awarded the title of Bike Region by the International Cycling Union. A recognition for what has been achieved in the recent past and an incentive to continue on the path undertaken with a brand like Giant as a traveling companion.
