In the last few days the team Groupama-FDJ, the training directed by Marc Madiot, has defined a technical partnership agreement with the Julbo brand. This is a multi-year agreement characterized by two distinct stagesStarting next year, Pinot and his teammates will be wearing Julbo helmets, while in 2024 they will also be wearing glasses. The situation is different for the French team's continental lineup, which, to be clear, has dominated the international scene this year with lenny martinez, Romain Gregory and Lorenzo Germani. The continental team's riders will be using Julbo helmets and glasses starting next year..

French excellences

The agreement between Julbo and Groupama-FDJ can rightfully be considered a meeting of two French excellences. If on one hand we have a "historic" team of transalpine cycling, on the other we have a company with 134 years of experience, having been founded in 1888 in the Jura department, in what can be considered the home of the French eyewear industry.

While retaining the family spirit of its origins, Today Julbo is a brand with an international reach capable of offering the market high-tech products ranging from mountaineering to skiing in all its disciplines and facets. Today, it also offers high-end eyewear for sailing, running, enduro, and, of course, road cycling.

The first was Gaudu

The collaboration between Julbo and Groupama-FDJ is not entirely new. Since 2021, David Gaudu, one of the most promising athletes in the French team, has been using Julbo glassesGiven his vision problems, Julbo created glasses for him with corrective lenses using its proven RX Lab system.

Lenny Martinez, star of the continental team and ready to make his debut in the WorldTour, was already using Julbo glasses this season.
