MILAN – It has always been, or rather for exactly sixty years, one of the symbolic brands of Milan, and to celebrate a truly special birthday in style last Wednesday Guerciotti wanted to have alongside him the many friends who contributed, each in their own way, to making his story unique.To do so, he chose a truly exclusive location, Terrazza Martini, right in the center of Milan, a few steps from the Duomo, another symbol of the Lombard capital, as Guerciotti is for all cycling enthusiasts.
An evening of champions
Among others, the meeting point at the Martini Terrace was: the many champions who have pedaled and won on a Guerciotti bicycle, as Gilbert Simoni and Alessandro Bertolini, just to name a few. When you think of Guerciotti, the comparison with cyclocross but it comes naturally and here are the former world champions Roland Liboton, Vito Di Tano, Daniele Pontoni, Mike Kluge and Henrik Djernies. None of them wanted to miss the invitation received from Paolo Guerciotti and his children Alessandro and MicaelaWe're talking about champions who have written unforgettable pages in the history of world cyclocross aboard a Guerciotti bicycle.
First the logo
We had already received a small preview of the evening at the end of April from Micaela Guerciotti, Marketing Director of the family business. We met her because we were intrigued by the Guerciotti logo that had been created for celebrate 60 years and which is accompanying all corporate communications in 2024. Micaela Guerciotti herself told us about a truly unique evening, during which we will celebrate the history of the family business and reveal some important new products.
A new Guerciotti
Terrazza Martini and its breathtaking view of Piazza Duomo provided the perfect backdrop for an event that proved a resounding success, thanks in part to the flawless organizational direction that thrilled the many guests in attendance. This was confirmed by the words of Micaela Guerciotti herself, the true director of the entire evening: "We are extremely proud of this evening and the great success of the event.Seeing the emotion in our guests' eyes as they shared such an important moment with us reaffirmed once again that we're on the right track. It is a new Guerciotti that we are presenting, strong in its past full of history, but full of enthusiasm and creative drive that translates into unique products and extraordinary projects."
Here's what's new
The Terrazza Martini rooms were the backdrop to the presentation of the latest innovations by Guerciotti, starting with the SIXTY model, a limited edition bike, a masterpiece of technique and style, launched to celebrate the company's sixtieth year of activity and about which we hope to be able to tell you more soon.
Always attentive to market demands, Guerciotti has been able to capitalize on the growth seen in recent years by the pedal-assisted sector. The guests at the evening of Martini terrace had the opportunity to see Guerciotti's latest e-bike innovations characterised by the new EP3+ GP engine from Polini, a historic partner of the Milanese company.
The importance of having technical partners at your side was underlined by Alessandro Guerciotti himself, CEO of the family company.
"It's a source of great satisfaction for us to be able to celebrate such an important moment for our company together with customers and suppliers who are true partners for us.
