When we talk about Look, we immediately think of top-of-the-range products at the service of great champions. To find out more we decided to meet Alberto Fumagalli, Marketing Manager Italy of Look, in its offices in Saronno.
Alberto, how did the contact with the Biringhello Cycling Society come about, and what does your collaboration involve?
It all started with an email Alberto Di Leo, a member of the Biringhello staff, sent us a few months ago. They asked us for support to help them in their sporting activity serving young cyclistsWe immediately liked the idea of being able to link ourselves to a youth team and We decided to give them our support by making Look Kéo pedals available. What prompted you to sign a partnership with a youth team?
Our decision is not based on any marketing or financial considerations. Over the years, Look has supported generations of cyclists by providing them with innovative products. The company has always believed in the importance of developing youth cycling. As Look Italia we want more and more girls and boys to have the opportunity to approach our sport in complete safety.We want them to be in the best position to develop a passion for cycling. Supporting a youth club was the natural next step. The Biringhello also has a track that allows those competing in the Giovanissimi category to pedal safely. under the watchful eye of their coaches.
Do you have any plans to do any activities involving the young Biringhello athletes in the future?
We have currently supplied our pedals for the boys, while the Company has received Look-branded gazebos and banners for their activities on the racetracks. However, we are thinking of inviting them to the company to let them know our reality and bring them even closer to cycling.. Given our partnership with the Velodrome Committee Vigorelli We'd like to take some of them out on the track using the bikes we've made available to the dedicated track school at Vigorelli. We have lots of ideas. The most important thing is to be close to these little cyclists, but above all to a company like Biringhello made up of people who dedicate their passion and free time to helping children practice a beautiful and healthy sport like cycling.
