Four pedals for four jerseys

To celebrate the start of the 108th edition of the Tour, Look thought it would be a good idea to create a series of pedals that fully recall the jerseys of the Tour de France leaders. Here is the green pedal which recalls the jersey dedicated to the leader of the points classification, the white pedal for the best young man, the polka dot pedal for the king of the mountain grand prix, whose leader's jersey in France always arouses considerable enthusiasm. Closing the series could only be a yellow pedal, the symbolic colour of the French race destined to shine at the finish line in Paris.

The model chosen for this particular initiative is the Keo Blade Carbon Ceramic TiThis is the most prestigious model in the Blade series. We're talking about a pedal that perfectly combines maximum lightness, smoothness, and an excellent power-to-weight ratio.

Ready-made pedals

Look is no stranger to initiatives of this kind. Some time ago we told you about a special version of the same pedals made for the 2020 edition of the Giro d'Italia intended for the winner of the Giro d'Italia in the event that it was an athlete from a team that had Look as its technical partner for the pedals. The final victory of Tao Geoghegan Hart made sure the pink pedals stayed locked in the drawer.

Look hopes for better luck in the Tour. The 2021 edition of the Grand Boucle saw eight teams using Look pedals depart from Brittany. Specifically, these are Astana-Premier Tech, UAE Team Emirates, AG2R Citroen Team, Cofidis, Movistar Team, Lotto Soudal, Intermarché-Wanty-Gobert Matériaux, and B&B Hotels P/B KTM. In Nevers, Look's headquarters, they hope that the next winner of the Tour de France, or at least one of the various classifications, will come from one of these teams.
