From the workshops of San Vendemiano to the great climbs of the Giro d'Italia, Miche signs a long-awaited debut in professional cycling: the Venetian company has officially entered the circuit WorldTour as a technical partner of the team Groupama-FDJ, bringing all the Italian know-how in the production of high-performance wheels and components to the roads of the Giro d'Italia.
Founded in the heart of the province of Treviso, Miche has signed a three-year agreement with Groupama-FDJ, a historic French team previously linked to Shimano. The debut at the Giro d'Italia therefore takes place in a season that marks a strategic turning point in the company's history. In a sector dominated by Asian players since the 1980s, the choice of an Italian brand represents a strong signal of revitalization of Made in Italy in elite cycling.
The riders of the Groupama-FDJ team face the Giro with the new Kleos RD (Race Division), wheels developed by Miche in the wind tunnel to optimize aerodynamics, reliability and robustnessThe set includes three profiles – 36, 50 and 62 mm – to adapt to different race scenarios, from flat stages to big mountains.
The 50 mm profile is the most versatile: It guarantees the perfect balance between weight, stiffness, and aerodynamic penetration, making it the preferred choice for many athletes. Made of T700 and T1000 carbon fiber, with Ergal aluminum hubs and steel spokes, the wheels stand out for their smoothness rather than their extreme lightness. The RD 36 weighs 1.380 grams, the RD 50 stops at 1.455 grams, while the RD 62 reaches 1.560 grams..

Technologies integrated with Wilier
The Groupama-FDJ team rides on Wilier Triestina bicycles, another Venetian excellence now part of the same industrial group as Miche. The collaboration enables the development of integrated frame and wheel solutions, with tangible benefits in terms of performanceIn the road stages, the riders will use the Filante SLR, while for the time trials the Supersonica SLR is planned with specific Miche wheels: Kleos RD SPX3 three-spoke at the front and Kleos RD Crono at the rear.
For the mountain stages, the team will be equipped with the Verticale SLR, an ultra-light and stiff bike built with three different types of Toray carbon fiber.

100% Italian innovation
Now part of the Wilier Triestina group, Miche is a modern company deeply rooted in its local area. With 42 specialized employees and an annual production of over 25.000 wheelset and 50.000 cassettes, every phase—from design to testing—takes place at its single headquarters in San Vendemiano (in the province of Treviso), where advanced technologies and robotics coexist with a passion for craftsmanship.
95% of Miche's turnover comes from abroad, with 71% dedicated to the road sector, 8% to Gravel, 8% to E-Bike, 6% to MTB and the remainder to track.
For Miche, the Giro d'Italia WorldTour debut represents not only a technical challenge, but also a strategic opportunity to consolidate its brand globally. The Giro d'Italia is the first major stage race in an ambitious project that sees Made in Italy at the forefront of the toughest cycling routes.
