Team Novo Nordisk recently announced a five-year extension of its partnership with its main sponsor, a leading multinational healthcare company. The new agreement extends the partnership until 2031 and represents the longest renewal in the team's history.A strategic choice that confirms the shared commitment to improving the lives of people living with diabetes and spreading a message of strength, awareness, and inclusion through professional cycling.
The collaboration between the two organizations began in 2012 with a simple yet revolutionary idea: creating a team composed exclusively of athletes with type 1 diabetes. Since, Team Novo Nordisk demonstrated that illness does not limit talent, performance or the ability to compete at the highest levelCompetitions, scientific data and athletes' stories have become tools for inspiration and dissemination, as demonstrated by the story of Matyas Kopecky who has just moved from the American team to Unibet.
With the renewal until 2031, the team will continue to compete in major international competitions, maintaining a central role in raising diabetes awareness. The message is clear: with proper management, medical support and athletic training, it is possible to live an active and ambitious life.


The goal? To generate change.

On World Diabetes Day 2025, the team will support the World Diabetes Foundation's project for children with type 1 diabetes in Uzbekistan. Team Novo Nordisk will donate 10% of profits from its international webshop until the end of 2025., helping to ensure better care for young patients in rural areas.

Team Novo Nordisk is now a global organization made up of cyclists, triathletes, and riders from over 20 countries.
