Top Athlete

For those who do not follow the world of Triathlon, it is right to point out that Casper Stornes made his international breakthrough in 2018 with his victory at the World Triathlon Series in BermudaSince then, the Norwegian champion has gradually focused his career on long-distance racing, achieving success in the IRONMAN 70.3 trials and becoming a key figure for his national team. His most prestigious result came in September of this year. Welcome Casper!

The one to welcome Casper Stornes to Q36.5 could only be Luigi Bergamo, CEO and Head of Research and Development of the brand: «At Q36.5 we are increasingly committed to bringing our innovations in aerodynamics and thermoregulation to triathlon – said Luigi Bergamo – a discipline in which we believe they can offer athletes an even greater advantage compared to other sports and which requires a meticulous approach to detail.

"During the years we have collaborated with champions such as Daniela Ryf, Julie Derron and Cameron Wurf And today we're thrilled to welcome the new IRONMAN World Champion, Casper Stornes. We look forward to working even more closely with him, putting the full range of our innovations at his disposal."

The top of Q36.5

To meet the future challenges that await him, Casper Stornes will be able to count on the best of Q36.5 technology starting next year. The Bolzano-based company will accompany him with technical clothing forefront, including a custom-made triathlon suit, the TRI Skinsuit. This garment has been optimized through rigorous aerodynamic testing conducted in the wind tunnel at the Silverstone Sports Engineering Hub, where every design choice is verified under controlled conditions to ensure maximum performance.

Designed for Triathlon

The Q36.5 TRI Skinsuit combines aerodynamic solutions with the woven fabrics of the Dottore Clima line. It was developed to meet the specific needs of triathlon. Each panel and seam has been designed for maximum efficiency in relation to the different areas of the bodyThe back of the torso integrates GYT (Graphene Yarn Technology), which, thanks to graphene, promotes heat dispersion and maintains a stable body temperature at 36,5°C. Quick-drying ribbed fabric reduces aerodynamic drag and ensures freedom of movement, while the absence of shoulder and armpit seams eliminates the risk of irritation while swimming. The front panels are made of a lightweight, stretchy material that helps dissipate accumulated heat. Proprietary TRI padding, made of high-performance hydrophobic foam, prevents excessive water absorption and accelerates dryingFinally, the high-density fabric used in the garment offers variable graduated compression, designed to stimulate blood flow and optimize overall performance.

A word from the champion

In recent weeks, Casper Stornes had the opportunity to visit the Q36.5 headquarters in Bolzano. Here are his initial comments: "When I visited the Q36.5 headquarters, it was immediately clear to me that their way of working is unique. We created a 3D mapping of my body, analysed the materials down to the fibre level and developed four prototype bodysuits, then tested them at Silverstone. Each of them proved faster than my previous setup. Add to this aerodynamic advantage the thermoregulation and quick-drying fabrics, and the result is a garment that truly excels under pressure. Q36.5 doesn't just make clothing: it engineers performance. I am truly excited to be able to race in this suit."
