Santini really never stops. These days the Bergamo company is a protagonist on the streets of Tour de France in a double roleOn the one hand, it is the official supplier of the leader's jerseys for the individual classifications, starting naturally with the yellow shirt. On the other hand, it is a technical partner of Lidl Trek, who showed off his new uniform at the Tour to celebrate the arrival of the famous supermarket chain as its first sponsor.
In the days leading up to the departure of the Tour, Santini was however the protagonist of another event, this time in Spain: the presentation of the official shirts of the 2023 edition of the La Vuelta, scheduled from August 26th to September 17th (sprintcycling photo at the beginning).

Seven years
The collaboration with the Spanish stage race is truly solid, so much so that it has now reached its seventh year.
The presentation of the new official jerseys for the leaders of La Vuelta took place in the unusual but fascinating setting of the Zarzuela Racecourse in Madrid.
«A partnership that has reached its seventh year, the one we have established with La Vuelta and which confirms our constant commitment to professional cycling – commented Monica Santini, CEO of Santini Cycling Wear – which we celebrate today by presenting the jerseys that will be worn by the champions of the 2023 edition».
«These shirts – he continues – are the hallmark of La Vuelta and represent not only four classifications, but also culture, cities and emblematic climbs of the race", added Javier Guillén, general director of La Vuelta.
As a reminder, the jerseys awarded to the leaders of La Vuelta are as follows: the Red Jersey sponsored by Carrefour for the leader of the general classification, the Green Jersey with the Skoda logo for the best in the points classification, the White Jersey branded by Plenitude for the best young rider, and the Polka Dot Jersey, sponsored by Loterías y Apuestas del Estado, which will crown the King of the Mountains.

Three special kits
As per tradition, in addition to the leader jerseys, Santini has created special kits to collect, but also to wear, to celebrate the most significant stages of La Vuelta. Each kit consists of a jersey, shorts and baselayer, and for each one there is also a cotton t-shirt with the kit graphics.
The first jersey coincides with the first stage of La Vuelta scheduled for Barcelona. The kit designed by Santini plays on the colours black, blue and purple with graphics that recall the vibrant personality of the famous Spanish city. A stopwatch icon is also present, as the opening stage will be a time trial.
The second jersey celebrates the climb of Angliru, one of the toughest and most famous climbs in the world. The Santini kit plays on variations of green, reminiscent of the forests that characterize the Asturias region where Angliru is located. The garments feature elements that recall the ascent and the Victory Cross., emblem of the region, which features an alpha and omega placed under the horizontal arms.
This year too, La Vuelta will conclude with the final parade in Madrid, and the last jersey is dedicated to the Spanish capital. The protagonists are two elements that characterize the city, and in particular the Puerta del Sol square.: the city's coat of arms, the famous bear with the strawberry tree, and the plaque indicating the Kilómetro Cero, that is, the point in the city from which the roads connecting the most important places in Spain depart.
The replicas of the leader shirts and the three special kits are already available for purchase online on the website of Santini and in specialized cycling shops.
