The start of the cyclocross season is not as far away as you might think. Confirmation comes from the fact that the project was officially presented in mid-August Giro d'Italia cyclocross, ready to set off from Tarvisio in the province of Udine on October 1st. In recent weeks, the teams and athletes have already been hard at work preparing for their seasonal debut.
These days, however, there's a team making a lot of noise with a series of new developments that herald a truly ambitious season. We're talking about Team Guerciotti. Just a month ago the Milanese team said goodbye to the Selle Italia company, historical for over thirty years “traveling companion” on the racetracks in Italy and around the world. Today the team led by Paolo and Alessandro Guerciotti officially announces the new main sponsor that will appear on the historic yellow and black jerseys with the yellow star in the center starting from the end of September. It is FAS Airport Services.

FAS Airport Services has its headquarters in Grumello del Monte, in the province of Bergamo, and It manages airport services in Italy, but also in France, Croatia, Slovenia and several other countries. Lucio Dognini, the owner himself, tells us more about the Bergamo-based company.
"In the event of a flight cancellation," Dognini explains, "we arrange buses for passenger and crew transportation, hotel accommodations, and more. Passion for cyclocross
Lucio Dognini considers himself a true cyclocross enthusiast and enthusiastically accepted the challenge Paolo and Alessandro Guerciotti presented him: to help relaunch the discipline of cyclocross in Italy.
