AIR is coming

The good news of the last few days at Veloplus is represented by the agreement reached with theAdriatica Ionica Race, Moreno Argentin's sporting "creature" scheduled for September 22nd to 24th and which will take the competing teams through three regions, one for each day of the race: Abruzzo, Puglia and Calabria (first, the leader's jersey, with the symbols of the regions appearing individually stage by stage). Veloplus will be the one to dress the leaders of the individual classifications, as Matteo Spreafico told us when we met him on a hot afternoon in mid-July at the showroom company in Castello di Brianza.

How did the partnership with the Adriatica Ionica Race come about?

In recent months, we learned that Argentin and its team were looking for a reliable partner to produce their leader jerseys. We contacted them and spoke with them. We liked the project immediately and so we decided to accept this new challenge. For us, this is another step in our brand's recognition in the cycling world.

How long is the agreement valid for?

We have decided to sign a three-year collaboration contract. We believe that three years is the ideal time to get to know each other, grow together and develop excellent synergies. We have also signed a three-year agreement with Team Corratec-Selle Italia. This year the debut at the Giro d'Italia arrived immediately confirming that we made the right choice.

Returning to the Adriatica Ionica Race, have you already started working on the jersey design?

In agreement with the organizers we started by creating for them the kit that Silvio Martinello and Daniele Marcassa will wear during the reconnaissance of the individual stages. For each reconnaissance a related video will be producedThe kit consists of a shirt, bib shorts, sleeveless vest and bandana.

Can we preview some technical details of the individual leader jerseys?

Each jersey will feature a modern design. The combination of multiple fabrics will be foreseen To ensure high elasticity, breathability, quick drying, and make each jersey suitable even for high temperatures. Let's not forget that, although the Adriatica Ionica Race is scheduled for September, it will be held in Central and Southern Italy. The risk of encountering very hot days is real.

Before closing, if we had to list what distinguishes Veloplus, what could we say?

Each of our garments is a true expression of Made in Italy, starting from the fabrics used, the workmanship, and the care we put into creating each product. We are a young but highly professional company that loves to meet deadlinesBeing a family business allows us to be agile and quick in making decisions and to follow through immediately. I also consider it an important factor that both my father and I have a background as professional cyclists. This gives us a unique insight into how to make a product and which fabrics to use. The last thing not to be underestimated is that we ourselves test our products firstNothing is put on sale unless we have first tested it thoroughly.
