Lazer launches a new special edition of the Z1 KinetiCore helmet. An iconic model, now linked to a social cause that looks to the future of cycling and female empowerment.For every helmet purchased, the company will donate 10 euros to the “Bike for Future” project. The new Z1 KinetiCore “Use Your Head Edition” starts with the classic matte black finish. Added to this base is a black graphic motif, almost invisible in daylight. However, it activates in the dark, when hit by the headlights of a bicycle or car. Then a complete drawing of a stylized brain appears on the back of the helmet.

For every Z1 KinetiCore “Use Your Head Edition” sold in any country, Lazer will donate 10 euros (or the equivalent in pounds or dollars) to the Bike for Future programThe initiative is managed by Plan International, an organization active worldwide in protecting children's rights and promoting gender equality.
Bike for Future focuses on Rwanda, the country that hosted the 2025 UCI Road World ChampionshipsHere, sport is a vehicle of emancipation for thousands of girls living in vulnerable contexts.
The goal is to involve 3.600 Rwandan girls through sports activities and training programs. The project is based on four pillars:
- Women's cycling's empowerment through cycling
- Professional training to promote economic independence
- Tackling gender stereotypes through community support
- Engaging the private sector to create real job opportunities
Cycling creates opportunities
Sport thus becomes a tool for opening new paths… The cyclists of the women's team also support the project Picnic PostNL, women who they pedal every day for work. Together they shared their stories to inspire and promote this initiative.
The message is simple: cycling liberates, unites, creates opportunities. And it can change lives.
