I had the pleasure of speaking with Jolien D'Hoore, current sports director and a great sprinter until a few years ago. He has big plans for my future and that of the team. I immediately felt very valued and consequently I feel very enthusiastic about thisI'm sure that having someone as experienced as Jolien will help me improve even further.
Do you already know what your role on the team will be?
We talked about it of course. I will focus mainly on the classics, where I should have a leading/co-leading role.The team has proven its worth this year and has grown even more. For a lover of Northern races like me, Becoming part of the famous “Wolfpack” is definitely something special. I am convinced that at AG Insurance I will be able to fully express my potential.
You'll be leaving the EF group after a long time. What will you take away from this experience with them?
The four years in the EF squad were crucial to my development as an athlete and a person. It wasn't easy for me to imagine myself in any other colors.
