It all started in Corridonia

Corridonia opened hostilities thanks to the efforts of the Bike Italia Tour headed Francesco Baldoni: «Two months have passed since the event, but we are already working to evaluate a possible date change and to further improve every aspect of the event, with the goal of making it increasingly comprehensive and functional for both athletes and spectators. The large participation, constant in all editions, represents for us organizers a great recognition and an incentive to continue on this line of growth.».

In Tarvisio he took action in person Bandiziol Cycling Team di Mauro Bandiziol: «This year it was difficult to really understand how much influx there was if not from the number of participants, considering the difficult weather conditions which were at the limit of the practicability of the route, however The organizing committee, together with the main staff, took home 3 green lights from the UCI commission present on site. What can I say, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. A special thanks to all those who collaborated to make the event a great success."

Zoncolan did not disappoint expectations

In Osoppo it was the turn of Jam's Bike Team Buja di Gessyca Baldassa: «The Rivellino Ciclocross stage is not just a competition, it is a point of reference. The event stands out not only for its high competitiveness, but also for its exceptional location, unanimously recognized as one of the most fascinating and performingThis year's route was special, with his name being written on the track, thus celebrating 20 years of activity."

Then there was the long-awaited test on Zoncolan, the novelty of this year, thanks to the Carnia Bike«Organising a race of this type at 1.300 metres above sea level is not easy – assures the vice-president Vanezza Zagar – and it contains many challenges but However, we managed to do a good job thanks to the excellent collaboration with the Municipality of Sutrio and the entire surrounding area. The positive response from the many participating companies gives us the energy to plan a truly exciting 2026 edition."

Already many requests for 2026

Closure in Cantoira, Piedmont: «We have guaranteed the youth categories the opportunity to interact with the best Italian athletes, also in view of the upcoming Italian Cup and the Italian championships. – testifies the local coordinator Pier Franco Guglielmetti I cannot emphasize enough how personally satisfied I am with the success of the event, including its promotional value for the Lanzo Valleys. The event's success, and the synergy between organizers and local authorities, bodes well for the event's growth internationally as well.

Fausto Scotti, who achieved another feat, sums it all up: «In the end, so many participants, so many numbers and the level is constantly rising even at the youth level. The numbers are increasing, as of today I can already say that we have 14 requests and 8 have the requirements to be able to make a stopIt will be difficult to choose the six races, but next year we will aim to make it entirely international and in the meantime add a stage."

More space from the media

One aspect that Scotti intends to push for is media coverage: «Above all, the relationship with RAI needs to be reassessed. It's true that they spend a couple of minutes on Radio Corsa, but more space is needed to give the teams and cities a bit more exposure. It's clear that in October there's still a lot of activity on the road. But instead of showing Juventus-Roma from 1932, why not include a match that we send you as a closed package, with the (expensive) work of the server? It's true that on Bike Channel o Scratch we manage to spend two hours and they show us all the categories, but the national network has yet another impact."

Then there is the surrounding work: «We promoted the event in schools with children, we left gadgets, we spread cycling awareness and this also affects the sponsors who support us."

A springboard for our stars

Everyone, from Augustine e Viezzi down, they say the usefulness of the circuit positioned in October, because even if they are not going to compete abroad, they were able to get their legs going, so the position in the calendar is ideal: «Having been a manager for 17 years gives me the experience needed to know how to build a season and help our players. If you organize international races and don't invite foreigners, all the points go to the Italian riders, which helps them get ahead in foreign events, especially the European Championships. Plus, you let them ride all October, and they'll arrive at the event well-trained. You just do a light training session, float that week, and go to the European Championships in good shape. If the Giro also serves this purpose, then so be it…».
