In a message in early September Filippo Rocchetti announced to us that he was back in the flagshipA few hours later, the phone call to tell them everything. After leaving UC Trevigiani the sports director from the Marche region had stopped and seemed to want nothing more to do with cycling. But when the call comes from home it becomes difficult to say no, especially if sport runs through your veins. The new adventure is called Fior di Grano - Tris Molds, the category is junior.
«It was something that came about while talking to the team president, Antonio De Angelis – Rocchetti tells us during a lunch break at work – they are a young team from Montecassiano. They asked me for a hand and I was happy to give my contribution, although for this year it was little considering that I arrived during the season. A friend, who is the main sponsor of the team, contacted me and told me about the project.It's a local, family-run team, made up of young locals. The other sports director, Cristian Falcioni, is just over thirty. while President De Angelis is young, he is forty-three years old».
The right keys
Cycling in the Marche region, as in other parts of Italy, is suffering. Teams struggle to move forward for various reasons, linked to the difficulties in finding sponsors and to some not always far-sighted choices. Some time ago we told you, through the voice of Pedale Chiaravallese, how difficult to do activities. The same reality of Chiaravalle then had to close the junior team at the beginning of this season. Their best talent, Thomas Cingolani will race with Team Ecotek.
“With Filippo Rocchetti we were able to hit the right notes,” says Antonio De Angelis cheerfully, “and we’re happy he came with us. Ours is a team that wants to grow, we are in our first year in the junior category, but we are coming from a constant pathWe were born five years ago, when Enrico Vissani and I founded this organization. Pierino Pinton, in his role as vice president, has always worked with us. We started with the very young, then added the beginners and the students in the following seasons. Last year we stabilized with these categories. while 2025 saw an interesting changeThe junior team was born, despite having previously eliminated the categories."

In the Marche region, there aren't many young people who ride bikes, so to put together a team, you need to find the right way to work. We wanted to align ourselves and involve two other local entities that are close to us: Recanati and Porto Sant'ElpidioSC Recanati has the novices and students, while GS La Montagnola has the very young players.
In short, is there a puzzle to be built that is not easy to put together?
Our strength was to find other teams ready to collaborate and who have the same idea of cycling as us. Rather than making three half companies with just a few guys, we divided the work.It's a question of budget, of boys and of staff.
What idea?
We as Fior di Grano-Tris Stampi want to become a reference team for the kids of the Marche region, for the juniors. Even wanting to involve Rocchetti is an investment from this point of view. He's a young guy, with great ideas, a great desire to do well and a very respectable CV. Now we are the nursery of Mg.K Vis Construction and Environment.
An ambitious project…
True, but when we found ourselves talking about it I wanted to do something important. I ran all the way up to the amateurs, and to do so I left homeI would like to provide the kids with a competent facility close to home in which to grow. It's not just a matter for the Marche region, but for all of central and southern Italy.In fact, we also have kids who come from Umbria.
How did your first year in the junior category go?
The team is made up of ten boys, eight of whom are first year students. Also because we started with good numbers at the beginning and we have arrived up to nowThanks to our work with SC Recanati, we should have the category covered until 2027. We want to help our athletes grow, we have some interesting ones and we are convinced that there are talented kids out there.
How did you manage to involve so many sponsors?
They are all local businesses, and we're happy about that because it means the project is attracting interest. We don't go by victories or numbers, but by the path of growthOur supporters want kids to be happy about riding their bikes and to have fun. We put the sporting part into it, we have taken part in several international competitions, other stage races and even a training camp in Livigno this summer.
Can you do it all?
Yes, that's where the staff and I come in. We bought the bikes, we ride Olmos. While our trainer is Joseph De Maria (Piganzoli's trainer at the Polti VisitMalta team, ed.) We're ambitious because we live cycling this way, but the important thing is to give the kids a solid platform close to home. We are growing and Rocchetti's arrival will give us a hand in this sense.
