The new Gios ARTE 2 is the latest from the Turin-based company that with this model wanted to continue a project aimed at the exchange of disciplines and terrains. In fact we are talking about a bicycle built to provide excellent performance both on the road and on gravel., a combination that is increasingly sought after by cycling enthusiasts. Asphalt and dirt, two worlds more in contact but difficult to unite. For this reason, Gios has sought a technical evolution that could wink at both disciplines.

«The ARTE project started a year ago – Marco Gios explains – and found its first home in the world of steel frames, a technical detail that I really like. The second model in this range follows the same wavelength, with the particularity of having an even wider wheel arch.. It is possible to fit tyres with a maximum width of 34 millimetres without any problem».

Titanium

ARTE 2 sees its soul forged in titanium, a material prized for its technical qualities and which allows for a lightweight, durable, and high-performance frame. This is no small detail, given the intention behind this bike.

«The tubes chosen – continues Marco Gios – are in Deda K19 grade 9 titanium. Let's say that unlike the first model made in this range, the ARTE 2 has some differences regarding the seat tube, no longer curvedA choice that consequently results in a longer rear triangle. Titanium allows us to have a high-performance bicycle, therefore a model that can be placed in the high-end range. We are talking about a product reserved for an audience looking for excellent technical performance».

Details

The latest addition to the Gios Torino family is packed with technical innovations and features, many thoughtful touches that, when combined, create a bicycle that meets a wide range of needs.

«The front fork – says Marco Gios again – it's the Deda All Road, very unique and which guarantees enough clearance to fit 34mm tires. Its unique design allows the cyclist to have a frame with road geometry even on gravel. The goal was to create a mixed terrain bike with a racing soul.».

«The rear triangle – he concludes – has a “flattening” near the wheel passage, which allows us to fit larger tires than the standard ones we find on the road. The group is Campagnolo, and you can choose between single chainring and double chainringAnother special feature is the choice to have mounted Deda SL5 wheels, designed specifically for off-road riding."
