Monitoring all athlete data is essential in modern cycling, where everything is calibrated down to the centimeter and nothing can be left to chance. MagneticDays, one of the most established companies in the field of indoor training, has released a new update for its App: this is the possibility of analyzing cardiac variability.

Features
By reading the heart rate you can have important feedback on training workloadObviously, this data must be compared to the watts to have a more in-depth and specific reading.
As the MagneticDays coach explains Luke Bianchini, Heart rate variability is a useful data for monitoring indoor trainingIt provides additional data on the work performed and a tool for monitoring and evaluating the athlete's parameters. Post-workout analysis allows you to identify parameters such as breathing rate and quantification of internal load.

The 3.2.0 release of the App
The application update is available from 3 May, to download it you need to have the Jarvis firmware updated to version 36, downloadable from this link.
First of all you need to have a MagneticDays heart rate monitor, or alternatively, a monitor that is able to read the RR interval: or the time between one heartbeat and the nextFor a correct reading of the data, you must perform 3 minutes at the beginning and end of the activity to check the basal level.
Finally, You need to have 80% of the data reading active on the AppThis can be seen by looking at the color of the HRV icon during training. Red means the data is insufficient, yellow means moderately sufficient, and green means the data is correct.
