We tried a summer kit, consisting of the Gamma bibshort and Iota jersey. Below are our considerations.

Gamma, the no-frills bibshort
It's a technical short with a uniform compression along the entire surface (except the band on the thigh) and is highly breathable. Starting from the top, it has perforated and rather substantial shoulder straps, which maintain a optimal stability and support even when riding in the lowered positionIn the back section the shoulder straps join together in a single panel, which adapts to the back. The abdominal band is characterized by a porous fabric that does not accumulate moistureAt this point, the bibshort offers an advantage that is by no means obvious and which is particularly useful when you throw yourself into the descent after a long climb.
La eQipe bibshort Gamma The fabric on the thighs and buttocks feels like velvet and is almost weightless. It's like a second skin that adapts perfectly to the contours of the muscles. The comfort it generates is an added value This is no small feat, and it's still noticeable after hours of activity. The leg cuffs, however, are softer and perforated, and do not feature silicone inserts. The Gamma bibshort has a list price of 159,90 euros.

The Iota jersey
It's a mesh packaged and targeted for the summer days warmer, capable of combining different types of fabric; each of these has a very specific purpose, but overall we have a shirt that dries extremely quickly. The crew neck (low) is designed to be comfortable first and foremost and eliminate the discomfort that the zip and its slider can cause.
The sleeves have a raw cut that does not include silicone, while the chest and back combine fabrics with different textures. The front and back panels have small holes that do not block thermoregulation and promote the entry of airThe sides feature mesh with larger holes. The waistband is elastic with silicone dots inside; the goal is to keep the fit snug.
The back section goes down below the lumbar area and there are three pockets, large and deep. All the written, including the front logo, are reflective. eQipe Iota has a list price of 89,90 euros.
