The Swiss brand Assos launches the new version of its super light and super aerodynamic jersey, designed for those who pursue performance at any time of the year: the Equipe RSR S11 jersey. Assos continues like this his research in zip-free shirts, a choice that looks to the future.

The RSR S11 jersey from the Equipe collection (the one dedicated to racing garments) is the evolution of the RSR Superléger S9 model, the first to use this particular zip-free design. The ultra-breathable main fabric is the Hill Rombo, the lightest ever used by Assos, at least for the main structure of the shirts. It is an open-structured material, just like a jersey, in which the main part is so thin and breathable that it is almost transparentAn important innovation concerns the sleeves, made with a new material that the company defines as "run-proof". This is the 550CX fabric with two-way stretch that wraps around the muscles and increases aerodynamics on the shoulders and arms, one of the points of greatest impact with the air.
“Armored” pockets and racing fit
The The rear hem of the RSR S11 is equipped with silicone micro-pads which guarantee maximum grip and stability, and a similar measure has also been used for the back pockets. The three pocket panels create “covers” that lock items in, also contributing in this case to aerodynamics, as well as to comfort and safety.
It has already been said that the RSR S11 is a jersey designed for competition, and this is also evident from its cut. The jersey is in fact very short, especially at the front, to facilitate even and above all the most aggressive positions, without the annoyance of any creases that a longer design could create. Finally, compared to the previous version, the collar has also been improved, which in the Superléger S9 was U-shaped. Here instead Assos has opted for a hollow in the center, for the benefit of breathing and comfort.
