The German brand Focus has decided to renew its road bike par excellence: the Izalco Max. We are talking about a model created and then declined in many different ways depending on needs and technical ideas. Now the engineers of Focus and the technicians have decided to further renew this range of bicycles.
A model born to be fast and aerodynamic, with thin profiles and a clearly thought out design to meet the technical needs of a cyclist increasingly looking to maximize performance.

The question we started from, at home Focus, to realize the Izalco Max It's just one simple question: what is the most important feature a road bike must have?? The answer was, speed. Even when you ride for fun, marginal gains play a fundamental role. In fact, with the Izalco Max, the Stuttgart brand's engineers have opted for comfortable geometry and angles.
Technical details
In Focus they wanted to invest and offer cyclists a really wide range of technical choices for the Izalco Max, In fact, two series were developed: the 9 (with versions 9.9, 9.8 and 9.7) and the 8 (with versions 8.9, 8.8 and 8.7).
The 9 series also saw the addition of some technical innovations, such as the integrated Reserve One handlebar and the power meter as standard. Features that give an idea of the competitive approach that we have towards this range. On the versions that mount the Shimano group, the 9.9 and 9.7, the power meter used is 4iiii. While for the Izalco Max 8.8, which mounts the SRAM group, the power meter is that of the Force AXS group.
As for the 8 series we are looking at a mid-range bicycle, with a carbon frame made from a different alloy.
In version 9.7 and 8.9 Focus has chosen to supply the Reserve wheels, belonging to the group Pon.Bike, which are guaranteed for life.
New colors
The Izalco Max range has been renewed by expanding the choices related to the colour of the frame which include significant chromatic choices and capable of satisfying any user, from the most imaginative to those who love classic tastes.
In the 9.9 version we see the stone colorway, while for the Izalco Max 9.8 purple makes its debut, combined with the writing “Focus” in orange. For the 8.9 model, the grey/red colour was added.
For a tailored fit, the Izalco Max is offered in seven sizes from XXS to XXL.
Price: starting from 2.499 euros for the Izalco Max 8.7 up to 8.499 euros for the 9.9 model.
