Helmets are the new products presented by just1 atItalian Bike Festival. But Just1 itself is almost a novelty in the world of cycling, and road cycling in particular. The Tuscan company launched its MTB line a while ago, and immediately made it clear the level of quality we would see. Shortly after, they relaunched the brand in the pro world with their eyewear model. Sniper. A model that Lutsenko also used (and uses). Now here are two jewels: the helmets JHyper (opening) e JHero.
JHyper, aero and safe
To introduce them to us is Tony Amoriello, J1 general manager: «The JHyper is our top of the range. This helmet is designed and developed for those who cycle at a high level, therefore for professionals but also for athletes who are looking for (and need) to have a helmet that allows them to achieve maximum performance.
«As you can see, the shape of the JHyper is tapered. We went to the wind tunnel. IThe aerodynamic coefficient has required its fair share of work, but safety is no exception. The density of the polystyrene varies depending on the strategic points. And this is what raises the bar of safety (and overall quality, ed.). The JHyper is equipped with technology Mips, which reduces rotational impact trauma."
Despite being aerodynamic and having few vents, just 6, the JHyper amazes with its ventilation. The rear dial allows you to adjust it perfectly on your head. Its weight? About 290 grams. Six color variations.

JHero, quality for everyone
Slightly lower in the range, but equally an excellent product, is the JHero, designed for a slightly less demanding audience.
«The JHero – continues Amoriello – It's an excellent product but at a slightly lower price. Its design is very refined. The variable density polystyrene structure remains, but there is no MIPS."
Here too, the rear dial allows everyone to find the perfect fit. The JHero has ten vents, so there are no ventilation issues, while still maintaining an excellent aerodynamic coefficient. Compared to the JHyper it weighs about 50 grams less (so about 240 grams). It's available in five colors, including pink... really unique and also suitable for a female audience.
In short, Just1 presents itself really well also in road cycling and it already goes fast!
