Feather in name and in fact
Essential, at times minimal, but packaged thanks to a strategic mix of fabrics and each panel is specific, for a targeted performance. The key words remain comfort, maximized breathability and adequate grip, a technical shirt, nice and tight, not extreme. On the back the contrasting triangle pattern is functional for ergonomics, breathability, a extra fast drying and the Carbon thread strengthens the structureThere are 4 pockets, 3 classic (huge and we like them) plus an internal/side one hidden by the zip.
On the sides there is mesh fabric, at the front there is a tighter weave with soft, impalpable fabric with a sort of micro-perforations. The neck is low. The sleeves adopt the aero concept, they are very tight and have clearly visible ribs, not at all rigid, able to adapt to the shape of the arm.
Our feedback
SLP Feather It's a great reference. It's comfortable to wear and combines a slim fit with a modern cut achieved thanks to high-quality fabrics and textures. it is never extreme precisely as far as ergonomics are concerned.
It's an excellent custom piece and leaves nothing to chance. Special mention goes to the size tailoring (we wore a S, small). well proportioned also in terms of length of the abdominal area, not a simple detail.
SLP Hero 2.0, the bibshort
A pair of shorts that brings with it the Elastic Interface Comby seat pad. A good added value also with a view to long distances, well positioned and breathable, a padding that also works well thanks to the optimal elasticity of the fabric that characterizes the legs and the entire hip area.
SLP Hero 2.0 features a particularly thick fabric panelling abrasion resistant in the saddle area to the full advantage of the longevity of the garment. list price is 137,50 euros, also in this case an excellent quality/price ratio, especially in terms of customization.
Our considerations
The list price falls correctly within this product category and market segment. From a technical standpoint, the SLP Hero 2.0 bib offers something more, especially in terms of longevity, elasticity, and fit. The padding is well-positioned, and the pad itself offers good performance even over long periods. Really the straps and the support they offer are well made, thanks to a reinforcement panel placed on the lumbar base, thanks to a high level of elasticity, however not excessive. We liked it the die-cut hem insert that completely wraps around the waist of the bibshort, a sign of optimal attention to detail.
Not in the last place the length of the leg, with a modern and elongated cut, capable of taking full advantage of the fabric's elasticity. This means these shorts are flattering and perfectly in line with current trends and demands, perfectly adapting to the shape of the thigh.
