The Eclipse Family

La S Disc It is part of the well-known Eclipse family. The frame is printed with a composite of carbon fiber and epoxy resins, similar to what happens with aerospace technologies. The resulting monocoque is extremely compact and resistant, but above all At 900 grams it is one of the lightest frames among those designed for disc brakes and integrated cables.

Its design is asymmetrical and, as mentioned, the cable routing is completely internal to the frame and handlebars. On the brake front, we are faced with flat mount calipers and hubs with thru axle, which give rigidity to the bike in the different riding phases, but above all during braking. At the front end, in particular, the disc brakes combined with the thru axle and monocoque fork give a feeling of great solidity.

For every terrain

The boys have already brought success to the Eclipse S Disc, it was done by Immanuel D'Aniello, and we have him describe the bike to us.

«The frame is very rigid – he explains – you can see it from the geometry, it has good aerodynamics and a low weight, we're in the region of 7,4 kilograms. Downhill, as we've often used it in recent races, it's very maneuverable and responsive. Thanks to its low weight, we can say that It is a bike with excellent performance both uphill and on the flat..

«Even in the sprints – continues D'Aniello – he a great transmission of power, this is because the rigidity of the frame allows for very few watts to be lost. The design of the lowered rear triangle, ensures excellent responsiveness of the vehicle, in any situation."

The technical choices on which the team's guys UC Trevigiani they can rely on are of a high level, what is needed to emerge in increasingly high competitions.

«We have a double choice regarding wheels – says D'Aniello – in the most demanding races we use Vision 30 with Continental tubeless ready tires. While for faster rides we use Vision wheels with a 55mm profileThe handlebar is integrated, and we use the Shimano Ultegra 11-speed electronic groupset. The front chainrings are 54-40, and the rear cassette ranges from 11 to 28."

Guerciotti's word

Alessandro Guerciotti explains the idea and goal of this collaboration, which has just begun but is already moving in the right direction.

«We are happy and proud to be able to collaborate with the Trevigiani team – he says – it's about a historic team for the youth cycling movementFor this second season together the team has invested in high profile riders, such as Zurlo (recently called up by the national team at the Circuit des Ardennes, ed.). We at Guerciotti are therefore committed to providing a vehicle that is up to these challenges."

«The Eclipse S Disc model is our top of the range – continues Alessandro Guerciotti – and respects the standards that the market requiresThe biggest upgrade we made for the Trevigiani guys was the integrated carbon handlebar from our QTC brand. The Vision wheels are also carbon.
