The Venetian company scicon (which supplies glasses, among others, to Tadej pogacar) also has in its rich catalogue the Aerostorm model. Or rather the Aerostorm models, because in addition to the classic one there is also available also the Vista version, designed to accommodate corrective lensesIn any case, these are glasses designed for performance, with a gritty aesthetic made of angles and geometric shapes with a futuristic flavorAll of this, of course, using cutting-edge technologies.
Toric lens and cutting-edge shapes
Scicon's intention with the Aerostorm model is quite clear: to create glasses with an aggressive design (almost futuristic) with cutting-edge featuresThe Monolith Optics frame integrates very well with the Space Vision Toric toric lens made of polycarbonate. Unlike spherical lenses, thanks to their refractive powers Toric lenses allow you to compensate for the irregularity of the shape of the eye and thus improve the sharpness of vision.
The Aerostorm lens (which has UV400 protection) incorporates the VortexFlow ventilation systemIt is based on some long, narrow openings on the side and top edges, which prevent fogging even at low speeds. Finally, much attention was also paid to the construction of the TactiGrip rodsThey are made of nylon with a geometric pattern that reflects the angular shape of the frame, while the terminals are made of soft thermopolymer TPE.
Aerostorm Vista, the solution for everyone
As mentioned at the beginning, Scicon has also produced the Vista model. It has all the features of the Aerostorm, but with the addition of the optical insert for corrective lenses called SlidefitThe insert is compatible with both single vision and progressive lenses which can reach up to 4 diopters. Please note: this is an insert that supports the lenses, which are not included.
Like the previous model, this one was also designed in Italy directly in the Innovation Design Center of the company, with great attention to fit. In fact, both models make use of the program 3D Face Fit, which ensures an excellent fit for almost every face type.
Weight, colors and price
The glasses Aerostorm are available in 10 colors, from pink to gold to white. The model Eyeglasses Instead, from the company's website, it is only available in smoked black. The weight for both versions is interesting, only 32 gramsThe price, however, is different: 150 euros for the Aerostorm and 200 euros for the Aerostorm Vista.
