Spada Bike presents a new pair of wheels: the Blade 50 Disc. A product made entirely of carbon, suitable for both clincher and tubeless, as the name itself suggests, are wheels designed for disc brakes. This is a pair of wheels capable of performing on any route and in every season. This is mainly due to its extremely low weight, in fact the pair of Blade 50 Disc weighs only 1.350 grams

Unique technology

The Blade 50 Disc wheels feature an extremely solid structure, able to withstand large loads of force without suffering from deformations during pedalingThis leads to transferring all the athlete's power to the asphalt. The uphill yield, as a result, is high.If we then add the low weight, the equation is quickly done.

The inner channel is 19,5 millimeters wide, as is the trend for modern rims, so as to use lower pressures than those usually recommended. If you opt for a 23mm tire, the pressure is 6 atmospheres. It decreases by 0,5 atmospheres for each additional tire size.

The Blade 50 Disc wheels are ready for through pins (12 front – 14,2 rear), as is now standard for most manufacturers. Furthermore, they can be fitted with all three groupset brands: Shimano, Campagnolo and SRAM.

The rays

The great technical capacity of the Blade 50 Disc wheels is also due to the wide base that provides support for the spokes. Having a larger working surface, these are able to have a higher tension, giving reactivity to the wheel. Spada Bike He opted for 24 spokes at the front and 24 at the rear, with a 0,9 mm profile.

This pair of wheels can count on only two bearings of the highest quality, also available in ceramic version upon requestSuch a solution allows for the optimization of friction, reduction of weight and reduction of active components.

Spada Bike has decided to mount Hertz hubs on these rims. In fact, they are the fundamental point of the performance of the circle system: thanks to them, it is possible to manage the correct tension and type of spokes, for a responsive yet comfortable wheel. The choice of Hertz hubs, weighing 83 grams at the front and 179 grams at the rear, is due to the accurate CAD study and artisanal manufacturing, robust and incredibly smooth, which makes them the best in the road sector.

The two-wheeler costs 1.250 euros and is available in two colors: black and anthracite.
