Bryton introduces new cycle computers Rider 650 and Rider 550, two models positioned in the company's mid-range, but with a large, vibrant color display and advanced features. The new arrivals are designed to offer visual clarity and interactivity at a competitive price, making them accessible to a wide range of cyclists.
Large display, super battery
Both models, Rider 650 and Rider 550, are equipped with 2,8-inch color display with intuitive graphical interface (GUI), but with one difference. The Rider 650 is touchscreen, the 550 is not. However, both are equipped with an integrated ambient light sensor, which automatically adjusts screen brightness for optimal visibility in different light conditions, while still leaving the possibility of manual control.
As for battery life, both deliver excellent performance. Rider 650 offers up to 33 hours of use, while the Rider 550 has up to 37 hours of battery life, ensuring long rides without worrying about charging. Rider 650 also includes a customizable button, allowing users to assign quick actions for a tailored driving experience.
Lots of features and lots of security
On the navigation front, The Rider 650 comes preloaded with regional maps and supports free download of global maps. Rider 550 integrates the “Turn Detail” function for a clear view of roads near turning points. Both models benefit from automatic route recalculation via the Bryton Active app in case of deviations and the “Climb Challenge” function, which offers a graphical summary of upcoming climbs for optimal effort management.
Il Rider 650 further distinguishes itself with the “Explore” function, which generates up to three routes based on the desired distance. The 650 is also a tool designed for those who want to train in the best possible way, being able to count on a graphical overview of the exercises and detailed data tracking. 550 instead focuses more on simplicity, with a more essential data field.
Both models are compatible with rear radar sensors, improving safety: a colored bar on the screen warns the cyclist when a vehicle approaches from behind, indicating the level of danger and the distance. Also with regards to safety, both models integrate the “Live Track” function, which allows family and friends to follow your ride in real time via a shareable link, showing your location, speed, travel time and distance.
Prices and versions
The Bryton Rider 650 will be available in two versions. In the basic version E, which includes device, bike mount, charging cable and safety leash, price of 169,95 euro. In T version which also includes sensors of speed, heart rate and cadence, at the price of 249,95 euro.
The The Rider 550 will be offered in two versions. In the basic E version at 129,95 euros and in the D version, which includes the heart rate sensor and the cadence sensor, at 189,95 euros. Both devices are distributed in Italy by Ciclo Promo Components starting from the end of July 2025.
