The novelty of 2024 at home Nalini has a name: Contact, a short that uses a new integrated MOA+ seat pad and braces systemMuch of Nalini's research and development has been dedicated to comfort, the true focus of these shorts. Comfort, yes, but without ever sacrificing maximum performance. Nalini has found the balance thanks to a long series of experiments and tests within its own research and development department: the MOA Lab, which gives its name to the new system.

A second skin
The new concept brought by Nalini It concerns the way in which the pad is fixed to the shorts. The difference is in the stitching between the shorts and the suspenders. Contact, in fact, requires that the shoulder straps are sewn directly to the pad, through side seams. A series of side buttonholes act as a "hook", the shorts therefore remain without their classic upper part, the bodice, very minimal and is composed of suspenders. This makes the trousers particularly suitable for summer outings, keeping the rider cool and dry and allowing for excellent ventilation.

The detail
This new application of the braces allows the Contact shorts to remain close to the body, following every movement. The seat pad, thanks to the innovative fastening system, is practically tailor-made.
«The challenge we set ourselves – declares Giuseppe Bovo, general manager of Nalini – was focused on radically innovating the very concept of the chamois. The solution came after a series of modifications and interventions to perfect the prototype and finally reach the finish line.: a revolutionary fastening system designed to transform the shorts and their seat pad into a second skin for the athlete who wears them."
The Contact shorts have reflective logos for better visibility. Plus it has a 5,5cm long gripper elastic at the bottom of the leg. with micro silicone dots to further improve grip.
