Those who cycle often know that aerodynamics and the pursuit of maximum performance are important for achieving better performance with the same effort. In professional cycling this has led to the cyclists adopting an extreme riding position. However, certain aspects only belong to the top category of cycling. For the rest, the aerodynamic position matters, but finding the right balance is essential to guarantee the user the right level of comfort. Da Parkpre they presented a new model, the K9, designed specifically to bring together all these concepts in a single frame.
We are talking about a bicycle made of monocoque carbon, therefore with high technical characteristics, with internal cable routing and disc brakes. The frame design offers modern geometries but still aimed at comfortThe result is a bicycle that can be summed up as follows: high performance on climbs and capable of guaranteeing good speeds on long journeys.

Ease of use
The new Parkpre K9 is an excellent racing bike for beginners and look for an entry-level model that combines a good dose of aerodynamic research without going overboard, thus weighing down on drag. The chassis setup offers a fast and dynamic ride, with a bike that is always ready and responsive when cornering but also stable when it comes to pushing on the pedals.
The tubes are shaped to minimize wind resistance, increasing speed for the same effort and aerodynamic efficiency, especially on flat sections. The K9 model is an ideal product for those who are buying their first carbon bike and want a product that offers a real improvement over aluminum frames, but without entering the high-end segment.

Technical details
For the Parkpre K9, as mentioned, the frame is made with UD monocoque carbon, which gives it an extremely low weight: 980 grams. The seatpost is the Parkpre Carbon UD, while the bottom bracket chosen is the Pressfit 86,5×41.
It is equipped with the Shimano 105 Di2 twelve-speed groupset with a double 50×34 chainring at the front, while the rear cassette ranges from 11 to 34. The controls and braking systems are always Shimano 105. The wheels are PFR with a 50mm profile and are fitted with Vittoria Zaffiro tyres with a width of 28 mm.
The latest addition to Parkpre's range allows those new to road cycling to enjoy faster, longer rides while maintaining the right balance between technical performance and budget. The K9 is customizable Like all Parkpre models, the user will be able to choose from a wide range of colours, matte or glossy finishes, graphic details whether to include them or not, making the bike a truly unique piece.
