The Swiss brand Assos presents Rapidfire Chronosuit S11, a time trial bodysuit designed for those who really want to wear the best in races against the clock. Brand new fabrics
The Rapidfire S11 body is the pinnacle of Assos aerodynamic technology, tested in the wind tunnel in collaboration with the Swiss team Tudor Pro CyclingIt uses new, ultra-fast fabrics. The upper part has been used Hawk-01, a fabric with a diamond-shaped structure which eliminates surface turbulence.
The sleeves and the lower back (where the pockets usually are) are made with Eagle-01, a material characterized by a ribbed striation which channel the air thus reducing aerodynamic resistance. In the the lower part of the body instead the new Kompressor was used: a patented fabric that is the most breathable, cooling and compressive ever built by Assos.
Super-tight fit and floating seat pad
It goes without saying that the Rapidfire S11's fit is as close and snug as possible, with taped seams and raw-cut hems to minimize even the smallest turbulence. Another example is the legs of the shorts, longer than classic models, to take full advantage of the benefits of the Kompressor fabric.
even the case back has been updatedIt is made of foam with a thickness of 8 mm, but above all it has a reduced volume and is fixed only at the front and back, leaving the central part free. In this way the caseback becomes “floating”, that is, free to move together with the cyclist's body, minimizing irritation.

As mentioned above the back pockets have been eliminated, leaving room for a mesh pocket for the number at the bottom of the back. Furthermore, a real gem from the pros', inside the chest is present a space to store the radio, with internal passage for the earphone cables.
