These stages have thrilled all two-wheel enthusiasts and will be a major focus again in the future. Santini official partner of the Grande Boucle Since last year, he has created an exclusive collection of garments dedicated to some of the most evocative hamlets of the Tour de France and Tour de France Women's cycling with Zwift.
In addition to the jerseys of the ranking leaders, the Bergamo-based knitwear factory is ready to dress fans in six outfits that tell stories through unique colors and graphics dedicated to the local area or the history of the destination of certain special stages. Grand Départ, Bordeaux, Puy de Dôme, Courchevel, Trionfo, Col du Tourmalet.

The great departure
The collection opens, needless to say, with the kit Grand Départ, dedicated to the great departure that this year will be at BilbaoThe colors chosen for these garments are those of the Basque flag: green, red, and white. The color choices blend with the symbols of the territory, such as the Basque cross or some of the local monuments, both of which are protagonists of the design. The number 110 is also present, indicating the 110 edition of the Tour de France, and the word Euskadi, Basque name of the region.
The capsule continues with the line inspired by the seventh stage which will be run from Mont de Marsan to Bordeaux , the city that gives its name to the suit. The shades used are the homonymous burgundy, the same as the Red wine famous in these vineyard areas, and the fluid movement of wine when it is poured into a glass.

Cycling Icons
Another icon of the yellow race is the Puy-de-Dome, the dormant volcano in France protagonist of the ninth stage of the TdF 2023. A climb that saw the historic duel between Jacques Anquetil and Raymond Poulidor in the Brive la Gaillarde – Puy de Dome stage of the 1964 Tour. It became a symbol precisely for this “side by side” challenge as documented by the newspapers of the time. And it is the image of the cover of L'Equipe with a photo of this challenge as the background to the jersey dedicated to the ninth stage of the Tour.
The seventeenth stage of the 2023 Tour de France is a grueling mountain stage. It starts from Saint-Gervais-Mont-Blanc and finishes in Courchevel, at 2.010 meters above sea level. One of the most renowned ski resorts, Courchevel is located in the French department of Savoie. The colors of the classification of the ski slopes (green, blue, red and black) are used to create a pattern on the garments dedicated to this stage.

The grand finale
To tell the magic of the last stage of the Tour de France and celebrate the arrival of the Champs-Élysées and the Place L'Étoile, Santini created the kit TriumphThe design of the garments was inspired by the shape of the square: numerous streets radiate from its center like the rays of a star. The colors chosen are those of the French tricolor flag, and the yellow details are a reference to the Grande Boucle.
Alongside the replicas of the four leader jerseys for the athletes of the Tour de France Women's cycling with Zwift, Santini has designed a women's kit dedicated to the seventh stage of the 2023 edition which will end on the majestic Col du Tourmalet. One of the most iconic climbs of the Tour de France, the ascent in the French Pyrenees has been present in numerous editions of the race since 1910. At the top of the pass, in addition to the statue of Octave Lapize, there is a small bar with a “stepped” roof and it is precisely this peculiar shape that was used to create the design of the garments.
