Honeycomb structure
Koroyd is a material that offers a feeling of breathability and great lightness, but above all exceptional impact protection. In the Road helmet it is present in the form of small honeycomb nanotubes in the side inserts of the helmet.
Thanks to its characteristics and this geometric shape the Koroyd offers approximately 30% more protection capacity than a standard material, absorbing much of the energy released during a collision. Furthermore the hollow honeycomb profile has the effect of maximizing the passage of air, which guarantees constant thermoregulation even during moments of intense effort, such as an outing (or a stage) in the mountains.
Retro design, modern details
The Stradale helmet's design is inspired by another Ekoi helmet, the Légende, which in turn harks back to the famous leather helmets of the 1950s. But This simple and clean structure is not only a tribute to the pastThanks to the super resistant Koroyd inserts it was possible minimize material while leaving ample ventilation spaces, a key feature for a high-performance helmet.
The rear adjustment is entrusted to the Atop knob which allows for micrometric adjustment and precise even with one hand. Finally, the closing buckle is very interesting. Unlike the common clip ones, The Stradale lock is magnetic, which makes operations much easier even when wearing gloves.
Sizes, colors and price
The Ekoi Stradale helmet is presented in three different sizes, S, M and L, in as many colours Black, White and Red. They are also available seven different finishes and other interesting details, such as the flag of your country printed in the central part of the back of the helmet and, with a small surcharge, also your name.
