Wilier presents the new Rave SLR, a perfect frame for all-road performance, the geometry is racingA lightweight, responsive frame with stiffer points for maximum response on all terrains. The most important thing for those who enter the world of gravel is performance too on the road, for this reason the new Wilier Rave SLR is built with the same carbon mix as SLR shooting and Wilier 0 SLR.
Finding the perfect balance between road and off-road is tricky, but fitting it into a single chassis is even trickier. Wilier technicians have outdone themselves and have masterfully mixed the needs of these two worlds, they mixed carbon with special viscoelastic fibres and thus guaranteed an incredible reactivity of the frame.

Easier to drive
Driveability is not a factor to be underestimated, especially when you consider the type of terrain the Rave SLR will have to race over. A slightly shorter reach and a raised stack allow the bike to be more maneuverableBut what are reach and stack?
Il reach is the horizontal distance between the center of the bottom bracket and the top of the head tubeA longer reach forces the rider to assume a more “racing” position, this characteristic is exaggerated on the road where greater aerodynamic penetration is required.
Lo stack is the distance between the center of the bottom bracket and the centerline of the top of the head tubeWhat makes the biggest difference is the height of the head tube, the higher it is, the more stability you will have on the front end and greater precision in steering the bike.

The details make the difference
The 0-bar and J-bar monocoque handlebars, available in the various Rave SLR equipment, allow for the integrated passage of cables. A detail that, however, gives an idea of the meticulous work that Wilier's technicians have done in designing the bike. The integration of the cables first of all allows for an aerodynamic gain, and this makes the difference on the road. As for the garvel, however, The integrated cables are protected from external agents and are less subject to wear or breakage.
To remain faithful to its all-road nature The Rave SLR can be equipped with all the top-level groupsets, for road and gravel: Dura Ace Di2 9270, Ultegra Di2 8170 and Sram Force AXS for the road, Campagnolo Ekar, Shimano GRX and Sram Force AXS XPLR for gravel. The mountable tires are up to the extreme size of 42 millimeters, for both road and off-road.
Prices for the Rave SLR in the gravel version range from 8.300 euros with the Campagnolo Ekar groupset to 8.400 with the Shimano GRX and Sram Force AXS XPLR groupsets.
For the version with road groupsets, the prices are: 9.000 euros for the bike with the Sram Force AXS and Shimano Ultegra 8170 groupsets, while 11.000 euros for the version with the Shimano Dura Ace 9270.
