When spring arrives, King Arthur is not caught unprepared. The Romagna-based sportswear house (it doesn't stop at cycling) owned by Paolo Castellucci, offers a new summer kit that makes its strong points its “fit”, breathability and aerodynamics. But clearly style and elegance are not lacking, as in ReArtù's DNA.

One shirt, two faces

The first thing that struck us when we took the shirt out of its packaging were the raw-cut sleeves. The sleeves are also quite long, reaching almost to the elbow. An aesthetic and aerodynamic choice. This is also the same kit used by the historic team ReArtù supports, Mg-K Vis.

And that aerodynamics plays an important role in this jersey is also evident from the fact that the front part, that of the torso, is very smooth and well-fitting. The back is perforated. Not only that, but the fibers used in this back section vary in their arrangement depending on the area, ensuring exceptional grip and comfort.

The front part, to allow the zip to stretch well and follow the cyclist's fit when in position, is shorter than the front part.

Trousers, wavy cut

Without a doubt, the bibshorts offered by ReArtù are unique. The first thing that catches the eye is the wavy raw cut on the thigh. Unlike traditional shorts, the shape isn't tubular or round, but follows a wavy line. It almost forms a point at the knee.

By modern standards, these shorts aren't very long. They probably leave a couple of centimeters, but aesthetically they make an impact.

Their particularity of these is that the fabric is unique, both for the suspenders and the pants themselves. And it's something we appreciated. A solution that really benefits comfort.

This fabric seemed ideal to us for higher temperatures. We tested them out in this early spring heat, and the promise was excellent. You barely feel the shorts on, they stay very cool and stretchy at the same time.

The pad is of good quality. We noticed that it sits slightly higher at the back. Compared to the previous ReArtù models we've tested, this is a different pad. At first, it's a bit confusing, but as you wear it for a few hours, you'll notice how comfortable it is.

The highlight of this set? The socks: stylish, efficient, and aerodynamic (note those vertical lines).

WorldTour socks

Socks are perhaps the highlight of a summer-spring outfit. They are 20 centimetres high with a good elastic band that is never tight. They're made of a very good material (a specific Lycra), especially in terms of stretch. From what we've noticed while testing them, compared to other socks of this "aero" type, they stay on, unlike others that may lose elasticity after washing.

Not to mention that they're very light. Which is never a bad thing in this super-careful cycling world, even in the amateur world. A level of attention worthy of a WorldTour pro.

In general then We're talking about a high-quality kit, designed for riders who want the best, not only in terms of fit, but also in terms of performance.

And speaking of fit, one of ReArtù's unique features is its sizing. Unlike many competitors, whose sizes range from XS to XL, ReArtù's sizes range from XXXS to XXXL. This gives users a whole new range of options. These sizes, in addition to being identified by letters, are also indicated by numbers. And this is no small feat for those who demand a perfect body fit.
