Tubeless, but also a tubular version: the top-of-the-range tires from Challenge become even more modern thanks to an expansion of the sections: 28 and 30, for tubeless and also for the tubular versionThe design and construction remain the same. Let's go into detail.

One-of-a-kind carcass
Even for the new ones Criterium RS 28 and 30 tubeless ready a was used Corespun cotton carcass with 350 Tpi (threads per square inch), a unique structure. This allows the tire to be flexible, comfortable, and to optimally distribute vibrations, as well as adapt to the terrain and outside temperatures. Regardless of the inflation pressure, the tire will never feel excessively hard.
Is one handmade tire, which also integrates a protective band that adopts the acronym PPS, inserted between the tread and the carcass.

The differentiated design
In the central part it is slick, with a compact and resistant structure. The aim is to maximize smoothness. On the sides it is a real dotted pattern, with the small tiles that change diameter between the edges and the area closest to the center of the rubber. This solution has a significant impact on the shape retention of the tyre, which does not sag or flatten even after many, many kilometres. Challenge Criterium RS TLR, from 28 and 30 have a list price of 84,90 euros.
And then the tubular version, a must have Challenge, also and not only for the cotton construction (350 Tpi). The Criterium RS becomes big in this version too, with widths equal to those offered for the TLR. The list price is €99,90.
