Factor opens a new chapter in bicycles dedicated to performance and maximum performance, all thanks to the Factor One model, a road bike born thanks to the collaboration with the highest level teams in the world and the experience gained in UCI racing. This new model is the result of years of research and development carried out internally by Factor and from its section. The Factor One is a bicycle that combines advanced aerodynamics, lightness and total control in every situation.
A bicycle studied and designed according to the canons of modern cycling, with frame geometry optimised for advanced and extreme positions. All this, however, without forgetting that at the basis of everything there must be maximum control, even in the most complicated situations.

Innovate
The new Factor One isn't just a fast bike, it's also the result of ongoing research and development. Every detail matters when the difference between winning and losing can be measured in seconds or moments. Factor engineers worked with an innovative approach, which combines performance and aerodynamics with high precision in riding and the possibility of adapting to every need related to professionalism.
The qualities of this model were already evident thanks to the sporting results obtained when it was still a prototype, not least the stage victory at the latest Critérium du Dauphiné. Everything has been thoroughly tested with CFD simulations and numerous wind tunnel tests: from the Bayonet fork to the integrated stem.

Optimize
Over the years, Factor has studied, designed, and deepened its technical knowledge, first creating increasingly high-performance models and then bringing everything together to create a high-performance bicycle that is fully compliant with UCI standards. For this reason, every detail of the Factor One was first subjected to several CFD simulations and then physically tested.Everything has passed under the watchful eye of the research and development department: the shape of the fork, the housing of the front chainrings, the aerodynamic surfaces, the brake mounting points, even the arrangement of the water bottles on the frame.
However, it is not only the search for maximum aerodynamics that is important, but the riding position also plays its part. The cyclist now uses narrow handlebars, saddles with increasingly forward positions and short cranksElements that have revolutionized the cyclist's balance in the saddle, shifting the weight towards the front.

Without compromise
The Factor One's geometry was created to accommodate this new riding position, without compromising on any of the above. By separating the handlebar mounting point from the steering axis, The bike offers the extreme reach required by professionals without resorting to excessively long handlebar stems, which can create instability when riding. The bottom bracket has been lowered to compensate for the higher center of gravity generated by short cranks and wider tires, this ensures a balanced weight distribution between front and rear. The Factor One retains the same steering geometry as the larger frames, ensuring a uniform and predictable response for every rider.
An interesting detail concerns the new Gull Wing handlebar, which offers up to 50 percent greater stiffness than other handlebar and stem combinations.
The new Factor One is distributed exclusively in Italy by Beltrami TSA.
