Having the right equipment for pedalling on any terrain is important, cycling is no longer divided between road and off-road, but it unites. In Felt they understood it and They have thus thought and designed a bike that can be an excellent middle ground between road and gravel: it is the Felt VR. Halfway between the model from FR race and the Breed Carbon gravel is equipped with cutting-edge features that guarantee unparalleled performance, comfort and versatility.

Different solutions
The Felt VR frame represents a big step forward in style and design, first of all for its extremely low weight: only 900 gramsThe second reason is linked to the clean lines and unique, innovative structural solutions. Felt used a single carbon layer that guarantees excellent resistance. The advanced construction technique, using high quality unidirectional carbon fiber, allows you to achieve the perfect balance between comfort and rigidity.
In light of the above, Felt has chosen a new shape for the rear stays. Unlike the FR model, the VR has them tilted to maximize comfort.: a solution that highlights the endurance soul of this model. The Felt VR thus becomes a vehicle suitable for long distances and the most varied road conditions.

Details matter
The difference lies in the details, and the Felt VR is no exception. To better meet the diverse needs of various cyclists, the tire section has been expanded. Tires up to a maximum size of 38mm can be fittedAerodynamics have not been neglected, however, with internal cable routing and an integrated handlebar stem. Two technical but also aesthetic solutions, which give the Felt VR a unique and clean design.
For the Felt VR, one of the Breed Carbon's workhorses has been revived, that is, the 27,2mm integrated seatpostAn off-road component to which an anti-vibration sleeve can be added to dampen jolts and impacts from even the roughest terrain.
The “D” shaped head tube contributes to the aerodynamic look of the bike and offers the classic road combination of 1 1/8 and 1,5-inch bearings. The asymmetric T47 threaded bottom bracket design offers an option that provides better chain drop protection on the drive side.

Different combinations
Versatility is therefore essential the frame has been designed to accommodate all the mechanical groups in order to give the user maximum customization in this field. It can also be set up with a single crown and, in this case, a plastic cover plate will cover the derailleur mount ensuring further aerodynamic gain.
The combinations are different and the groups that can be mounted, all Shimano, are: Ultegra Di2, 105 Di2, 105.
The price for the Advanced version varies from 2.999 euros to 5.999 euros.
