Gravel is growing and evolving, as are the bikes associated with this new off-road discipline. The brand GT is back with a new generation of gravel bikes, the third: here's the Grade, a pioneering model in this discipline. It now has a new design, providing greater potential for riding on any type of road: asphalt, dirt, and even single track.
The differences
We start with an evolution, the one brought by GT to its Grade model, which primarily concerns the frame designAn advanced geometry, which offers greater clearance for larger tires, ideal for covering many kilometers in any situation and condition.
More space has also been added for “gravel travel” to place bags and panniers, this is thanks to the Triple TriangleTM which offers greater control to the cyclist. This means more fun, meaning the bike is stable when riding, allowing you to concentrate on the journey and not on the competition.

The Triple TriangleTM in the new Grade model It has a longer and more robust connection to better withstand torsional rigidity. This does not, however, negatively affect the smooth driving characteristics.
In this version of the Grade, GT wanted to have a shorter seat tube, so as to allow for greater travel of the telescopic seat postThe new Grade’s lower seat tube has been implemented to allow riders extra clearance for a dropper post while still maintaining enough room for a water bottle, bags, or other useful items.
GT's Triple Triangle has suspended seat stays, in this way it was possible to obtain the extra 30 millimetres of Gravel Travel, without bumpers, pins or other mechanical elements. A choice that also falls on comfort, being the Grade a bike for adventure and long journeys, Having one less piece at “risk of breakage” is useful and convenient for the cyclist. In this way, worries decrease significantly.
A renewed frame
Modified and improved frame, indeed, maximized with Hi Mod technologyThe head tube junction, with TT and DT, for improved torsional stiffness, climbing, and steering. For better power transmission while pedaling, a BB-DT junction with chainstays was chosen. Solid and comfortable, this is the new Grade, the third generation of GT Bicycles' gravel models.
The new Grade frame is compatible with suspension forks, for greater comfort while pedaling. The Grade features the SRAM Rival groupset, with a 40-tooth, 11-speed single chainring.
