Fast, light and beautiful. These are the three adjectives that inspired Orbea to create the new OrcaA street model designed for competition that does not exclude cycling enthusiasts who want a high-performance modelTechnology and style are not lacking among the lines of the new Orca, such as the standard RAW carbon colours and the models equipped with Shimano Dura Ace e ultegra.
Lightness is guaranteed by the OMX and OMR carbon fiber frames that tip the scales between 833 and 1.030 grams respectively.
The design is not exaggerated by aerodynamics as for sister Aero, but in this respect some small changes have been made. An example is the Freeflow fork and the slightly flattened down tube and seat tube sections, for a 10 percent reduction in drag compared to the previous version. Orca represents the choice of trendy cyclists, who demand the lightest bike with the best combination of technology and ergonomics.

Lightweight and high-performance
From a smoother ride, advanced engineering and improved aerodynamics come benefits that can be perceived even by those who know nothing about watt. The OMX frame (833 grams) combines exclusively high modulus fibers and high strength fibers. The pre-preg carbon sheets are laser-cut, for minimize excess material and overlaps.
OMR shaping targets rounded frame shapes, which improves fit and reduces weight, making this version ideal for riders looking for a smooth and efficient ride quality. The 27,2mm round seatpost is significantly more comfortable than the 30,9 or 31,6mm diameters, without sacrificing frame stiffness at the bottom bracket. The Freeflow fork is designed to act like the tubes of aerodynamic frames, optimized for directional movement in the wind.

Geometry and comfort
Orca's racing geometry comes from nearly 100 years of road bike design and it is the perfect balance between responsiveness and stability. The position is aggressive to maximize body aerodynamics and efficiencyThe guidance is precise and intuitive.
Angles and dimensions are carefully considered across a range of sizes to put more power into the road with every pedal stroke, which translates to greater speed. Orca is designed to fit people of all shapes and sizes. Unlike a racing position that focuses on aerodynamics, the endurance one translates into a bicycle that is easier to ride and that increases resistanceA shorter cockpit and higher handlebars optimize rider comfort.

Technical details
It's the details that make the new Orbea Orca a true gem. The cable routing is internal, under the stem and through the head tube, with no rubbing or abnormal noises, optimized for both traditional and electronic shifting systems. Clever headset design and stem spacers allow cables to fit inside the frame while still allowing for steering adjustment. The ICR stem is compatible with a faceplate-mounted computer mount without altering the aesthetics.
The Orca seatpost clamp integrates seamlessly into the frame, reducing the likelihood of contamination and increasing aerodynamics. The fork seats allow for tubular and tire compatibility for all needs, up to 32c for OMX and 35c for OMR.
Price and fittings
The infinite number of configurations that Orbea's Myo portal offers combines with the already multiple launch versions of the Orca. There are 7 sizes: from 46 to 60Prices range from the top-of-the-range ORCA M10i LTD PWR at 9.999 euros up to the 2.099 euros of the ORCA M40.
