Fizik has decided to revolutionize the concept of the saddle, or rather the construction of the saddle. One-to-One was born, a program that wanted to revolutionize the creation of customized products using biometric data and the personal blood pressure profile of each cyclist.
One-to-One records the pressure exerted on the saddle, creates a profile, and the data is used to create a personalized product. How? Through a 3D printing system that offers unparalleled standards in terms of comfort and performance. The line Adaptive, already existing in Fizik, makes an important leap forward, reaching never-before-seen standards.

Meeting point
We have repeatedly emphasized how the saddle is the most important part of a bicycle and consequently of the cyclist. Most of the weight is supported by it and comfort cannot be put on the back burner.Choosing the right saddle allows you to ride your bike better and pedal at your best.
What Fizik wants to convey with the One-to-One project is that every cyclist has unique and unparalleled needs. Sensitivity, previous injuries, body shape and cycling goals differ.A personalized, one-to-one approach directly addresses each rider's individual comfort and performance needs.

3D PRINTING
The introduction of Carbon Digital Light SynthesisTM technology has allowed us to introduce a new line of saddles: Adaptive 3D. Carbon, a company that has collaborated and collaborates with Fizik, has allowed us to develop a saddle without constraints or limitations.
For example, the padding: now it is possible to choose and differentiate the areas and progressively change the layers and their intensity. Each line of Adaptive saddles is therefore unique and through the 3D printing process every need is transported onto a real product.

Data measurement
How do you get the information? Through the work of GebioMized, experts in mapping the pressure of the cyclist on the bikeTheir technology has been used by WorldTour professionals and is finally accessible to everyone. Fizik's goal, together with GebioMized, was to identify the key parameters that define each cyclist's riding experience.
Pressure measurement means measuring the force applied by the body to the saddle and how it is distributed. Of course this changes while riding, depending on the route and the position on the bikeClearly, pressure must be taken dynamically, while in motion. Together with GebioMized, Fizik has developed a mat capable of measuring pressure at 64 points distributed across the surface of the saddle.
The big difference compared to traditional measuring instruments is that With this technology Fizik and GebioMized are able to measure real parameters, while pedaling. You can identify pressure peaks, hot spots, or pelvic tilt.

Fizik's words
«This new technology – explains Marco Toselli, marketing manager of Fizik – allows us to collaborate directly with the sales points and bike fitter. We are now able to offer a service, not just finished products. Our partners have given us a huge hand in developing One-to-One. This is a real revolution for the world of saddles, every consumer finds his answer, immediately".
“An accurate fit depends on many factors,” said Giovanni Fogal, Fizik brand manager, “the geometry of your bike, the discipline you practice, the shape of the saddle, and your position on the bike. The most important factor, however, is that all cyclists are ultimately unique and different.Experience, sensitivity, injury history, conformation, goals. All of this affects how we sit on the saddle. It's clear that a traditional one-to-many saddle design can only offer an approximate solution to very specific problems. With One-to-One, we now achieve what every saddle manufacturer has always dreamed of: making personalized support for every cyclist a reality».
